Summer Jumpstart Day 4

Summer Jumpstart Day 4

Remember on Day 1, when I asked you to consider your reasons for joining this challenge? Hopefully you jotted them down because they’re coming into play right now.

  • How much time will your kids have for independent play?
  • How much time will you have for the whole family?
  • How much time do you need to spend on summer learning activities?

There’s no right or wrong answer here. And it can vary from week to week.

As you set up your family’s flexible family schedule, begin with the end in mind. What do you want to accomplish together? Set your intentions now (keep it simple!) and write it down. This summer, we will ___.

I am a big believer in giving kids choices, which is why I created an activity “menu.” Let’s start filling it in!

Make a big masterlist of favorite family activities with your kids and then share it in our Facebook group!

Think about summer learning activities–what skills does your child need to be working on during the break?

Tomorrow: we’re wrapping it all up! Don’t miss it. 😉
