12 Valentine’s Day Books for Kids

Valentine’s Day is almost here, and I am searching for gift ideas for my kids. Ever since they were babies, we have given them a new book for the holiday — some years they get a love-specific story, and other years they get a new paperback that they’ve been wishing for.

We’ve amassed a sweet collection of Valentines Day books, but I’ve noticed it’s getting harder and harder to find options without TV/movie characters. Not that there’s anything inherently wrong with beloved characters, but I know my nine-year-old won’t be thrilled if I pick up a Daniel Tiger book for Valentine’s Day.
